Domiciliary care — sometimes called home care — is the cornerstone of what we do at GTK Care Support. It is care delivered in your own home, on your own terms, around your own schedule.

Our domiciliary care service supports adults of all ages to continue living independently and comfortably at home, by providing structured, scheduled visits from our trained care professionals. Whether you need one visit a day or multiple visits throughout the day, we will build a care plan that fits your life — not the other way around.

Our Life Skills Support service is designed primarily for adults under 65 years of age, including those living with physical disabilities or other support needs, who wish to develop or maintain practical everyday skills. This service is focused on enabling individuals to live as independently as possible — in their own home and within their wider community.

Life skills support may include:

  • Managing household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Support with using public transport and navigating the community independently
  • Assistance with digital skills — such as online banking, using smartphones, or accessing services
  • Support with personal care routines and building healthy habits
  • Help with time management and organising daily activities
  • Building social confidence and maintaining relationships
  • Support with attending education, training, or employment activities
